2011 Bid Day

WELCOME HOME!

Recruitment is the most exciting time of the year at Alpha Gam! It begins with Open Houses on Saturday, August 11, and commences on Bid Day on Saturday, August 18, at 10 a.m. when members of the Pledge Class of 2012 make their way “home” from Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Last year was one of the most successful recruitments in the history of our chapter! Members of the Pledge Class of 2011 began their journey the day after Bid Day when they traveled by charter bus to a pledge retreat on Lake Martin. Back on campus, they took many leadership roles campus-wide and came in second in grades for all sororities! Big Sisters and chapter officers cheered them on as they participated in a variety of Homecoming, intramural sports and philanthropy events. Pledge swaps, social activities and Bama football games provided opportunities to meet pledges in other fraternities and sororities. Most of all, they formed lasting friendships to treasure forever!

We look forward to meeting you and sharing our love of our chapter with you!

We’re getting a new home! Recruitment 2012 is our last in the current chapter house as our new house under construction just a few doors down will be complete at the end of the year. Fall semester will be a big celebration of new beginnings for our chapter!
